RAISING THE VEHICLE - Axle stands are used to support the car while working underneath. Simply relying on a hydraulic jack is dangerous and should be avoided. A jack is excellent for lifting the car, but not for longer term support while you are working under it. Below is a picture of an M3W with axle stands in position.

The engine is heavy, you will need an engine crane or overhead gantry and somewhere to put it when it is out of the vehicle, maybe a sheet of plywood with some blocks of wood forming a cradle to stop the engine falling over. You will need a 5/16 Whitworth or 15mm.

The inner rotor of the Centa coupling is designed, as one might expect, to allow for quick changing of the rubber inserts, an essential in a sea going vessel. The application of this coupling in the Morgan Three Wheeler has been executed with the inner rotor the wrong way round to allow for quick changing of the inserts.
